Through the Surveys page you are able to perform surveys on policies. Surveys assist in the process of determining the sum insured for each interest along with the risk scale.

 

To inquire about certain policies or quotations and to check which of them has been surveyed or not, you need to go through the following:

 

§  To narrow down results, fill in the searching criteria at the top of the page by going through the following:

§  The Company name will be automatically displayed by the system;

§  Select the Branch of the company;

§  Select the Quotation radio button if you wish to inquire about a certain quotation or select the Policy radio button if you wish to inquire about a certain policy;

§  Select the Product from a list of pre-defined products. Accordingly, the system will display the Insurance Class and Policy Type according to the products definition that was defined in the Products page located in the Insurance Setup sub-module;

§  Select the Business Type (Direct, Inward or Coinsurance);

§  If Policy Product field was left empty, then you need to select the Insurance Class from a list of insurance classes that were defined in the Insurance Classes page located in the Insurance Setup sub-module;

§  Select the Policy Type from a list of policy types that were defined in the Insurance Classes page. Note that policies will be filtered according to your insurance class selection;

§  Enter the range of effective Dates;

§  Select the Quotation Number if you want to inquire about a certain quotation. Note that this field is enabled only if you have selected the Quotation radio button;

§  Select the Policy Number if you want to inquire about a certain policy. Note that this field is enabled only if you have selected the Policy radio button;

§  Select the Insured customer you wish to inquire about;

§  Select the Survey Number if the policy/quotation you wish to inquire about has been surveyed before;

§  Enter the name of the Inspector that performed the survey;

§  Click  to view results. Accordingly, the system will list policies/quotations that match your searching criteria in the Policies/Quotations Survey List block.

§  Select the policy/quotation you want;

§  If the policy/quotation selected has been surveyed before then the system will display all surveys performed for the selected policy/quotation. You may add new surveys to the policy/quotation.
