If you choose to set a serial for a certain policy type, make sure to select the Policy Serial needed from the Policy Serials block and then click  and then perform the following steps:

§  Select the policy serial of the insurance class from the Policy Serials block;

§  The Insurance Class drop-down list will be disabled and will display the insurance class of the created policy serial;

§  In the Policy Type Serial Entry block, select the Policy Type from the available drop-down list;

§  Once you have finished, click.
