To define the policy business of a commission type, begin by selecting the commission type from the Commission Type block. Accordingly, perform the following steps in the Policy Business Commission Entry block:

§  Note that the Code of the policy business commission will be automatically generated once the entry has been saved;

§  Select the Business Type of the policy business commission. These business types were predefined in the system;

§  Select the Insurance Class and Policy Type relating to the policy business commission. These policy types were defined in the Policy Types block of the Insurance Class page;

§  Enter the commission percentage in the Commission Percentage field. To enter a flat amount rather than a per cent amount, do so in the Commission Amount field. One of both fields should be filled, leave a field empty, simply enter in ‘0’;

§  Once you have finished entering the necessary data, click.
