Through the Import Interests CSV  page you are able to import interests as captured within Excel sheet template that contains a list of interests along with their details as to be uploaded to a policy and then save all the information to the systems database.

 

However, before entering this page you should select a policy for insurance type Motor only, from any of the previous pages explained throughout the system.

 

To import interests from an Excel sheet you need to go through the following steps:

 

§  In the first block the system will retrieve the policy information previously selected;

§  Click  to download the Excel sheet template which is a standard sheet based on ESKAEDNIA system. Save the Excel sheet to your computer and fill in the sheet;

§  Click the  to select the path of the file and then click  to upload the file to the system;

§  Select the Action you want to perform from the predefined list:

§  Import Data: The system will temporarily import data from the Excel sheet template to the system. Imported data will be listed in the Medical Services Details block;

§  Export Invalid Data: Export the invalid imported data into a separate Excel sheet.

§  Generate Error File: Generate an error file in a text file format that includes the detailed errors that occurred during the import operation;

§  Commit Data: the system will save the imported interests from the Excel sheet to the system’s database. Note that all data has to be correct in order to successfully commit data;

§  Commit Valid Data: Only save the valid imported Interests from the Excel sheet to the system’s database and keep the invalid ones in display;

§  Select the Import Type (Yakeen/Not Yakeen);
