To record a claim recovery collection entry, click in
the Claims Recovery Collection List block, and then go through the
following steps:
- Select the Claim No.
As a result, the system will retrieve all relevant information in their
designated fields;
- The Policy Number,
Branch, Insurance Class, Policy Type
and Business Type will be automatically retrieved by the
system. Note that these fields are read-only;
- Select the Claimant Name from the
predefined list; accordingly, the Claimant Type will be auto
retrieved by the system;
- Select the Recovery
Type. Accordingly, some fields might change;
- Select the Damage Type
and Damage Side;
- The Collection Date
of the claim recovery will be automatically set by the system to the date
of entry. However, you can change it if so desired;
- The Recovery Date
and Claim No. Also, the following fields will be automatically set
by the system: Recovery type, Recoveree Name, branch policy No.,
insurance Business Type, policy type, Ex-rate and claimant name, claimant
type, claimant loss and interest name, reserve amount
- Select the Collection
Date and Payment Type;
- Enter the Actual
Recovery amount. Accordingly, the system will calculate the Actual
Recovery in Local Currency of the system and the Net Amount;
- Select the party that
will be Accounted For when performing the actual recovery;
- Click to save your work. The remaining fields
will be automatically filled by the system upon saving or from the Claim
recovery Entry check on the checkbox auto collect recovery and so the
recovery transaction will be automatically transferred to the claim
recovery collection list.
