In the Agent Commissions page, you can define the accounts that the various agents’ commissions are taken from. You can link an agent, insurance class, policy type, business type, and premium type with a specific account.
It is important to note that the agents and accounts have been created within ESKA® Business Manager and integration within these two systems is needed to access the needed data.
To create an agent commission record, perform the following steps:
§ The Company Name will be
displayed according to the name of the Insurance Company;
§ Select the Branch that the
agent is located in;
§ Select the Business Type
for this agent commission entry;
§ Select the Name of the
agent from a list of agents that are retrieved from ESKA® Business Manager;
§ Select the Insurance Class,
Policy Type and Premium Type;
§ Select the Account from
the list of predefined accounts. This is the account from which the commission
with the specified criteria will be taken from;
§ Enter in the special commission
rate for the agent’s Vehicle Usage;
§ Select the Effective Date
of the agent commission record;
§ Select the Expiry Date of
the agent commission record;
§ Note: the Effective Date and Expiry Date are set to be
mandatory or optional based on a preference in the Preference page;
§ Enter in the Commission
Percentage and/ or Commission Amount. This is the percentage or
amount that will be taken from the premium as commission for the agent. If
there is an amount fill in Commission Amount, the system will by default
take one of the two. fill out one field, enter in ‘0’ in the other field;
§ Select one of the options of the Rounded
To field (integer, round to 1 decimal or round to 2 decimal …. etc.);
§ Once you have finished entering
the necessary data, click;
It is
important to note that the Has Commission checkbox in the Agent Offices page must be checked-in in order
for the specified agent to receive his or her commission;
The Agent Commission can be distributed on payments;
§ Enter the Instalment Number;
§ Enter the Commission Share Percentage;
§ Select the Payment Cycle;
§ Click ;
