Automatically adding policy business discounts allows you to associate a certain discount type to multiple policy businesses with a single entry. These policy businesses were previously defined through the Policy Business page;

To automatically add policy business discounts, you need to go through the following steps:

§  Select the policy business needed from the Policy Business block. You can select more than one policy business;

§  Select the discount type needed from the Discount Types block;

§  Enter the Discount Percent or Discount Amount;

§  Check-in the Auto Add checkbox to allow the system to automatically retrieve this policy business discount whenever it is necessary for the Production module. For example, when adding a policy that belongs to a certain insurance class and policy type, the discount types will be automatically set by the system automatically as defined through this page;

§  Check-in the Make Voucher in Financial System checkbox to generate a separate financial voucher for the selected policy business discount(s);

§  Click to bind the selected policy business(es) to the selected discount type.
