Through the Policy Renewals page you are able to renew an expired policy or about to be expired. Moreover you can create notifications for expired policies or those that are about to expire in order to remind customers to renew their policies.
This page allows you to view a Document List of Policy Renewal History. This will preview all renewal actions taken place.
Using this page you can view the loss ratio of a certain policy. To do so, select the policy needed from the Document List block and then click. As a result, the Loss Ratio pop-up will appear through which the policy’s loss ratio details will appear;
To perform various transactions on policies you need to go through the following:
§ Search for the policy you need by filling in the Policy Renewal Search criteria at the top of the page and then click to narrow down results;
§ Select the policy you need from the Policies List block. Accordingly the policy History List will be displayed in the policy Renewal History List block;
§ Select the policy Transaction you want to perform:
§ Go to Policy: This transaction will redirect you to the Policies page where you can view all the policy details.
§ Add Special Note: This transaction allows you to add a special note along with the renewal notice. Accordingly, the Renewal Special Note pop-up will appear through which you need to enter the special note you want to attach with the renewal notice;
§ Create Renewal Note: This transaction allows you to create a renewal note which is a notification for customers whose policies are about to expire;
§ Apply Policy Renewal: This transaction allows you to copy all policy’s details in its latest status but with a new policy number, the effective date will be the same as the expiry date of the old policy to be renewed plus 1 day and the expiry date of new policy will be extended for an entire year. Accordingly, the system will display the View result hyperlink. Click the hyperlink to view the results;
§ Company Termination: This transaction allows you to terminate the selected policy upon the insurance company’s request;
§ Client Termination: This transaction allows you to terminate the selected policy upon the client’s request;
§ Renewal Quotation: This transaction allows you to create a renewal quotation for the expired (or about to expire) policy. Accordingly, the system will display the View result hyperlink. Click the hyperlink to view the results.
Note that you can add a single renewal note to multiple policies. To do so, select the policies you want to renew from the Policies List block and then enter in the Renewal Note and click;
