In the Clauses page, you can define clauses to be used in the Policy Wording page of the Production module. Clauses are stipulations included in insurance policies. You will also be able to add the Clause Text;
To view certain
pre-defined clause, fill in the selecting criteria fields with the proper
details to filter down the retrieved records. If you wish to edit any, click on
the claim needed and you can proceed with making the changes you want.
To add a clause, click in the Clauses block and perform the following steps in the Clause Entry block:
§ Enter in the Code of the
clause;
§ Enter the Name of the
clause. In the Name 2 field, you can define the name of the clause in
the alternate language of the system if so desired;
§ Select the Insurance Class
of this clause;
Note: if the selected Insurance Class was Marine
Cargo, you need to select the Conveyance from the predefined
suggestion box;
§ Select the Policy Type if
this clause is only for a specific policy type;
§ Select the Status of this
clause; (Active, Inactive)
§ Enter the Effective Date
and the Expiry Date of this Clause;
§ Once you have finished entering
the necessary data, click. You can now proceed to the Clause Text block.
